The Fair

We went to the state fair today. The kids had fun riding rides and watching magicians. They don't have many animals though which makes me sad. It's always fun to see the animals.
While I was on the ferris wheel with Tenley and Ryder it started to drizzle a little bit and by the time we made it over to the merry-go-round it was pouring! Everyone screamed and scattered to find shelter! It was crazy. I couldn't stop laughing at our predicament. Brad and Kade weren't with us and we didn't have any shelter that close to us. Luckily Luke was well protected in the stroller. A nice man ended up helping me lift Tenley and Ryder over the gate to hide out in the merry-go-round. And then I ran as fast I could to an opening to get the stroller up on the ride as well. We waited the storm out for about 10 minutes and then it was sunny and warm again! It took us a few hours to dry off but it's a fun memory!
