Warm February Days

It had been unusually warm so far this February and I love it! The kids have been playing outside a lot which is nice. Luke also went to his first birthday party today. He had a lot of fun! And Kade had another stake dance tonight whcih he really enjoyed. Brad and I got to go on a date tonight as well. It was a fundraiser dinner with friends. We had fun with everyone and enjoyed the delicious food. 

After our dinner we went to the dance to pick Kade up and Brad danced with me. He hates dancing so it was really so sweet of him!

The Murdocks

We had another fun day with the Murdocks today! Cousin time is the best. We went and played at Flippin Family Fun, got 25 cent ice cream cones, played games, had a yummy taco dinner cookies for dessert made by Elly and Tenley AND popcorn made my Brad! It was a fun a delicous day!

The Air Show

We went to the air show at the airport today and got to see the Thunderbirds! It was a lot of fun. The boys love airplanes and had fun seeing the military airplanes that they had there on the ground. And they really loved the Thunderbirds. It was hot and traffic made our 20 minute drive home 2 hours but all in all it was worth it.

Luminaries

Today was such a fun day. We kept Tenley home from school even though she said she was feeling fine. We didn’t want to risk it. So she came on a walk with Brad, Luke, and I. The smoke is still here. But the river is still beautiful. 

After the walk, Brad and I went out to lunch at my favorite cafe. It was so good. And it was nice to have a day date out. 

Kade went over to a friends house tonight and when we went to pick him up we got a little tour of my friends new home. It has an amazing view of the river and is a beautiful home. 

Then we went back down to the river to enjoy a concert and the first ever Big River Ruckus event. They had Luminaria lighting the path which was beautiful. The bluegrass band, Lil Smokies, was really good! My Dad would have loved it. It was a fun night. 

Girls Night Out

We went on a fun bike ride this morning and then Brad and the kids dig up a dead tree from our yard. I think the older two were very helpful! They’re wanting to build a clubhouse where the tree used to be.

I got to go out with some girlfriends tonight. It was a lot of fun to get to know some of the women better. The restaurant was busy! It’s always so busy in Montana during the summer time. But it was a night.

Group Dates

We had a fun filled Saturday here in town with our family. Chad bought some exploding targets the other day with Brad so we found a place to shoot and had fun watching things blow up. 

The adults had a fun day out. We went to an escape room and to dinner. 

Then tonight we took the kids to disco night at the trampoline place. My kids were pretty tired by the end of the night. We came home to Brad’s homemade popcorn and played some VR together. 

Puppies

Our kids have been in heaven with having puppies here. Especially Ryder and Tenley. Every time I see Tenley she has a puppy in her hands. Luke enjoys actually being able to hold the puppies. The kids had so much fun with their cousins today. 

I had some fun showing Hailey around the city while The Murdocks were at Brad’s office. Then once their dental appointments were done we went out to lunch at my favorite cafe and did some driving around to show them our favorite neighborhoods.

When we got home we took the kids to the skating rink and had fun skating there. Ryder had skates on the whole time and got pretty good. My older two are getting pretty good as well.

It was a fun day and Kyle just arrived tonight! We’re looking forward to tomorrow.

Trolley Tours

This week has been filled with a lot of fun Christmas events! My little boys and I were able to go to Kade's school to help him decorate a gingerbread house. Luke stole just about every M&M that he could see. He even picked up a few red hots, but quickly spit those out. I don't know how much help we were, but we still enjoyed being there!

We surprised the kids tonight with a ride on the historic trolley around town to see all the best Christmas lights. I've been wanting to do this ever since I learned about it our first year here. We had a lot of fun! Luckily our tour wasn't too crowded so the kids had room to spread out. And we saw a lot of decked out homes! It was a fun festive activity!
