Crosstown Soccer

Kade got to play under the lights tonight at Memorial Stadium! The team played so well and so hard and so did Great Falls High. It ended in a 0-0 tie. It was so much fun to watch him play and to cheer on all the seniors for senior night!

Tenley’s team played in Butte tonight. I got to watch it on NFHS and she played great! I put the video up on our TV and Luke thought it was so cool to see Tenley on TV! After one of her kills he yelled, “That’s my sister!” Tenley’s team swept the A team and the B team.

It was a fun night of sports!

Ryder, Luke and I also met up with friends earlier today at the corn maze!

Crosstown Volleyball

The two high schools in town played each other in volleyball tonight. Tenley’s team did great and swept the other team! Tenley didn’t have any errors. It was her best game yet. I love seeing her progress not only in volleyball but as a person as a friend, and as a student.

Tenley’s Artwork

I didn’t realize how much I would miss Tenley in different ways with her at school now. I should have because I went through the same things with Kade.

I miss hearing Tenley play the piano everyday and I miss Tenley’s artwork. It’s so sad to me that she hasn’t had time for those things anymore. But today she was forced to do artwork for her “big sister” on the volleyball team. She made her a poster for their big crosstown game tomorrow and it looks amazing!

Ryder’s Soccer Team

Ryder’s soccer team had two games in Bozeman today. Luke and I came along to cheer him on. They won both games! Ryder played defender the whole time and is getting really good at that position! He played great! The three of us had a fun little trip together. The weather was beautiful and we loved seeing all the fall colors.

Brad stayed home to watch Tenley’s volleyball game and Kade’s soccer game. Tenley had a great game and her team swept the opponent! Kade’s game was windy and one of his best defenders was out due to and injury. They lost 1-3.

I made it back tonight to get Ryder and Luke to a party. Kade and Tenley both had parties as well. They all had fun with their friends!

Dinner Dates with Kade

We had a busy day today getting projects done and watching sports. Ryder and Luke helped Brad winterize the boat. I’m so sad boating season is over. It wasn’t long enough! Then we went to clean the office and then headed to Tenley’s school to watch her play volleyball. It was so much fun to see her play! She had a blast and they swept the other team!

After her game she stayed at the school to watch the other teams play and Brad and I dropped Ryder and Luke off at their friends house and then met Kade at a restaurant for dinner because he had just finished soccer practice. It was rare to have a date out with Kade and it was really nice to have time with him like that!

Brad’s Projects

Kade was in Billings today for soccer and it poured rain in them. He said he had a lot of fun playing in the rain but he was soaked to the bone!

Tenley played volleyball here in town so the rest of stayed home to watch her. Ryder and Luke were good sports about cheering her on!

Tenley got to go to a party tonight with friends and she really enjoyed that. Life has been much too serious for her lately so I’m glad she was able to unwind with girlfriends.

Brad finished a new light project that he’s going to add to his Christmas light display this year. He 3D printed balls to go around Govee lights. The way they light up is pretty magical!

Game Night

Ryder, Luke and I had co op this morning! It’s crazy to be back after having the summer off but the boys were so excited about it. And they had a lot of fun!

Kade and Tenley both had games in town today so we got to cheer them both on at their games! Brad was able to leave work early which was so nice. Kade’s team looks a lot better! They’re definitely improving even though they lost their game today.

Tenley’s team played great and they swept their opponents! Tenley had some great kills and serves. She’s doing a great job!

Volleyball, Crosstown Soccer

Tenley had her first travel game with the volleyball team. She had to leave school early and she got to party with her friends on the bus ride to Helena. The Freshman B team doesn’t travel so when the A teams is away they play the opposing teams A and B team. She said they swept them both! She had a blast cheering on the JV and Varsity teams as well. I’m so glad she’s having fun!

Kade’s team played the crosstown rival game tonight at Memorial Stadium. It was a beautiful night. I love watching them play at Memorial Stadium! The ended in a tie at 0-0.

Freshman Volleyball

We had a parent meeting for Tenley’s volleyball team and then we got to watch them scrimmage! It was so fun to see her play with her new team. It was a really short scrimmage but it was still a lot of fun!

Sunsets

Tenley had volleyball camp from 9 am to 3:30 pm. When I picked her up she was exhausted! I don’t think she ate enough food today. After she came home, showered and ate she was back to her old self. But she definitely loved camp!

We had our Elders over for dinner tonight. They are both leaving our ward tomorrow! We will miss them!

Sports

Our last weekend of driving to two different cities for sports went well again thankfully. The boys all headed to Polson with a couple of Kade’s friends. They had to leave at 6 am but they enjoyed a beautiful drive and a beautiful venue near Flathead Lake. Kade had exciting games. The first game was very competitive. It was 2-2 and Kade was in goal and the other team shot on him with 5 seconds left but he saved it! The second game was not as competitive at all so the coach had Kade play in the field and he scored a goal! He’s number 3 in the picture below. They won that game 8-2.

Tenley and I headed to Billings for the Big Sky Volleyfest. She didn’t have to be there until 1 so we got to sleep a little longer than the boys! Her team was placed in a higher division and although they competed hard the didn’t win any sets. It was sad. But the girls still had smiles on their faces and enjoyed their time playing together. They’ve made such good friendships and it’s been so much fun to see!

The team plays again tomorrow but Tenley and I headed home for church. It was a really late drive and we didn’t make it home until 12:30. But luckily we made it home safe and sound!

Travel Volleyball

It’s Tenley’s last week of travel volleyball but the team is making the most of it. They had practice last night and a party tonight! She’s had so much fun with her friends and it will be a fun time this weekend in Billings!

Days with My Kids

Travel sports split our family up again today. Brad and Kade headed to Kalispell for soccer. They had warmer weather there than we had here. Kade loved playing and they won both of their games. They’ve been having a great season!

Tenley and I headed to Helena for volleyball with Ryder and Luke. It was cold but the boys and I still got to play some football on the fancy turf field in between watching Tenley play. Ryder made a field goal! That was fun to see. He tried several times and was really excited to see his kick finally go through the uprights. Tenley’s team played pretty well. Tenley always does great and she’s so much fun to watch! But the team lost in the first round of the gold bracket. But that did mean we were able to head home earlier than normal! We went out to dinner together, cleaned Brad’s office, and started a movie together tonight. I love hanging out with my kids!

Safe Travels

Tenley and I left this morning at 5:15 am to make it to Butte for her first volleyball game of the tournament and Brad and all the boys left at 5:40 to get to Billings for Kade soccer games. We both got home after 9 pm! Such crazy long days but I’m so glad that we all traveled safely!

Tenley has a bad cold but she powered through and played the best she could. She and her team made it all the way to the gold bracket but then last two round in. I had fun hanging out with Tenley and walking around the track at the school. It was beautiful weather today!

Kades games went great and they won both! Ryder and Luke were good and got to play a lot of football.
