We spent another fun afternoon in the garage today. It's the best feeling to be done cooking dinner and then enjoy the evening with the kids until Brad makes it home to eat. Ryder was showing me his new 'trick' on his bike. He can stand up and ride!
I left Luke for the first time tonight to go to mutual. He did OK. He was pretty upset when I finally made it back because he was ready to eat and go to bed. We'll have to tweak the schedule a bit to make it easier on Brad. It was so good to be with my young women again though! I've missed playing with them on Wednesdays. Our activity was short so we played basketball the rest of the time. It was fun to actually join in and play and have the energy to do so!
I'm sure glad I was pregnant and have Luke, but I'm extra glad now that I'm no longer pregnant and I get to hold Luke in my arms. His pregnancy was extra hard on my body and I have so many new scars to prove it. I'm even finding spider veins on my legs! Ugh. Aren't those supposed to show up when I'm 80 and not 30? It all seems worth it though when I look at Luke and his sweet smile. He couldn't be cuter!
