It was so good to be here for Junior’s wedding! I loved seeing my family, catching up with extended family, eating yummy food, enjoying beautiful Utah, and helping my sister out with what I could. I think I love weddings so much because they bring family together for such a happy b occasion.
Ty spoke in church today and gave such a great report about his mission and such a good talk about immersing yourself in the gospel and not letting other things take the gospel’s place in our life. He has matured so much and it was so so good to be there. We got to see a lot ot the Hobson’s as well and enjoyed a delicious steak taco meal with everyone. We left after eating to try and make it home before 10. The whole trip was less than 24 hours but it was definitely worth it to give Ty a hug. We love him! He’s Kade’s closest cousin and I’m glad we were able to make it down there.
It was so nice to have everyone at home today! The kids were happy to be together and played together a lot. It’s nice to see everyone to hear everyone’s laughs. I’m just so happy to be back together as a family! I’m grateful for the adventures we’ve had but being together is the best.
We just got back from the Hobson family reunion at Williams Lake in Salmon Idaho and it was amazing. I loved meeting my new great niece and great nephews and catching up with the whole family. Between the exciting lightning storm, playing cards, eating delicious food, and spending most of the day on the paddle board, it was a relaxing and memorable trip. Ryder led his younger cousins in the flag ceremony which was really sweet to watch. My kids all had such a blast with their cousins. I only wish it was longer! Although we were all pretty tired driving home today so maybe it was time to be done. We can’t wait to see them all again soon.
