Boating

I think the greatest thing about vacation is being away from the distractions of home. Even though our weekend was so busy, it was also so refreshing. It was so good to catch up with family that we don't get to see very often, and to have our days filled with such fun activities. The boys went golfing this morning, we had lunch at another park, our little family stopped by the cemetery to see June (one of the most peaceful parts of the trip. I love talking with the kids about the plan of salvation in that setting. They were very interested in all Brad and I had to say. It was a special moment.), and we ended the day at the lake boating.
Kade and Tenley spent the whole night on the boat tubing and knee boarding. I spent most of the time on the beach with Ryder and Luke. For some reason Ryder was not interested in getting on the boat. So Ryder and I played in the water on the beach. I collected rocks for him and he threw them back in the water. He also loved sitting by Grandpa and Grandma Judy and just hanging out with them.
I did get a chance to get out on the boat and wake board. It was so much fun and such a beautiful evening!
