Sugar Cookies

One of Kade and Tenley's favorite Christmas traditions is making sugar cookies for our neighbors. Today was the perfect day to spend most of the day in a warm kitchen too. It was windy and really cold all day, and if we weren't in need of groceries I would have preferred not to leave the house at all!
The kids loved cutting out the cookies and they really loved decorating them. Ryder just loved licking the frosting off of them.
After cookies, Brad chose the movie Elf  for his night (because he loves me and knows it's my favorite!) and he also gave us a great lesson on the true meaning of Christmas.
I love this time of year and I'm so excited to spend Christmas with family!
