We loved the event last year and I was so inspired by it that I wanted to contribute to it this year somehow. I was able to sign up for a 30 minute music slot to play some Christmas music arrangements that I have written on the piano there tonight. I really really enjoyed playing tonight. I was able to walk around and look at all the amazing nativities with Brad and the kids and then I was able to go and play beautiful Christmas songs all about the Saviors birth on a gorgeous piano. I loved it. It was a great evening for me, and hopefully Brad and the kids as well!
The weather was awful tonight, though. It's been snowing for the past few days, the roads are icy, and visibility was slim, but Brad got us all there and home safely! He knew I had been planning on this for months, so I think that's why he was still willing to make the drive in the bad weather. The kids were great for us too. Ryder still seems lethargic. He actually slept on Brad the whole time we were there and he slept in the car the whole way home. Poor little guy.
On the way home, Brad found a yummy bagel place for us to have dinner. It was so good! Yelp is such a great app to use to find good food!
My family is such a great support to me and I'm grateful for all that they did in order for me to do something for me. I love them.
