I'm glad we got out to play today though! I've always liked the thought that families that play together, stay together. Brad and I both came from families that were good at this. I have great memories from my childhood of times when we just had simple fun and it gave me a close bond to my parents and siblings. I hope we're creating the same thing with our own children.

Sledding
It was about 15 degrees today, but we couldn't help but go out and play with the kids in the snow for a little bit. We drove around town at first to find a good park with a fun hill. We ended up finding a really great sledding hill at a park where someone had already built some sweet jumps and a friend of mine happened to be there with her kids as well so we decided to join them. Kade and Tenley were pretty brave and had a lot of fun going over the jumps. They both got good at steering the sled just right so they'd hit the jump well. Ryder was having fun too, but he was the first one to get cold. He needs better snow boots to be able to be out in the snow longer than an hour.
