Park Day, Birthday Parties, and Becca

Today was such a great day! Most Fridays usually are, but this one was particularly great.
Brad took his monthly test so I was glad for that to be over! We always enjoying celebrating the end of those tests on Friday nights.
We had a fun play date at the park with friends this morning. We love park days and the weather was so nice that we even stayed long enough to have a picnic at the park.
Kade got to go to his friends birthday party tonight by himself. He has been looking forward to it all week long. He didn't even really care about going to the park this morning because he was so excited for the birthday party to start.
With Kade busy for the night, my sweet, amazing, beautiful, always-willing-to serve, friend Becca offered to watch Tenely for the night so Brad and I could go out to dinner together by ourselves. It really was so nice to have a fun little date with Brad. And I'm so grateful for Becca and all that she does for us, and especially for her amazing example. I love Becca. I hope I can be like her someday.
And on top of everything else, the weather was perfectly sunny and warm!
I love days like today.
