Temples

Last night I was able to go to the Louisville, KY temple with my friend to do some work for the dead. It was such a fun night and I especially loved being at the temple. I really missed having Brad with me, though, because he usually is, but I was so grateful that he was willing to take care of our cute kids for me so that I could go.
The temple is so peaceful, so beautiful, so serene. It is my favorite place to be. I feel so blessed to be able to attend the temple and participate in the work that goes on there, serve others that have passed on, learn more about the gospel, and feel the presence of my Savior.

"The saving ordinances received in the temple that permit us to someday return to our Heavenly Father in an eternal family relationship and to be endowed with blessings and power from on high are worth every sacrifice and every effort.

As we remember the covenants we make within [the temple], we will be more able to bear every trial and to overcome each temptation."
