It has been heating up out here in Indiana and the humidity is sometimes unbearable, but the kids and I still like to go for walks once in a while. After about ten minutes or so, though, we are all sweating and the kids' faces turn bright red. That is when we know it's time to go inside and have a yummy Popsicle! It cheers us up and cools us down. And they are so yummy.
Tonight for book club we discussed Proof of Heaven, by Dr. Eben Alexander. It was such a beautiful book and the discussion we had tonight was so good. The book just verified all the things that I already know and believe; there is a God who loves us more than we can comprehend, our lives don't end after we die on Earth but we will live forever, our journey here on Earth is test and a small part of our lives to give us the opportunity to become like God, our knowledge is limited while we are here on Earth and we are capable of so much more and we all have truly great and divine potential.
This man's story was amazing and nothing short of a miracle. I really enjoyed the book and I highly recommend it!
