Today we wanted to go check out the library in Greenwood. I've heard great things about it so we drove the 25 minutes there only to discover that it didn't open until 1 PM! I should have checked the time online...
So, instead I thought it would be fun to find Independence Park. I've also heard great things about it, only I didn't know the address. (If only we had IPhones to look it up!) The GPS wasn't bringing it up so we called my always helpful mother-in-law and had her look up the address. She actually ended up finding the right address, but at the time we weren't totally sure that it was and it was another 15 minutes away so we ended up finding a park on the GPS that was only a few minutes away and went and explored there.
It ended up being an awesome park! The playground was alright, but they had really nice walking paths and beautiful scenery! We enjoyed it.
After our morning adventure we stopped by a firework store to get Kade his favorite, Snap Dragons. They had a great sale today and we got a huge box (normall $40) for $5! We were happy and Kade threw Snap Dragons the rest of the afternoon.
