The 4th of July is my favorite holiday. I love spending it with family, eating yummy barbecue food, laying and playing on the grass, and watching fireworks.
This morning our ward and had a yummy 4th of July breakfast at the church. We even had some fun eating contests. I participated in one where you had to eat 8 saltine crackers and then whistle "Yankee Doodle," and got 2nd place. Then Brad stayed afterward to play basketball. We had fun with friends.

Tonight we had our friends, Joe and Joanna, over for a barbecue of shish kabobs, pasta salad, fruit salad, and fruit pizza for dessert. Then we went to an Indians Baseball game downtown.
It was so fun to play on the grass with the kids and watch the baseball game. It was heaven.
They had awesome fireworks on the field after the game. I felt like a little kid as I watched them with the biggest smile on my face.
On our way back to our car we were able to see the downtown fireworks light off over the canal.
It was such a great day!
