Have I mentioned this week has been crazy? I was gone Tuesday night, Wednesday night, and Thursday night for my calling and we learned that that is definitely too much for our family. I was worried about it to begin with, but they were things that I felt needed to get done. I learned that it would probably be best to only have one night away from my family each week for my calling.
This morning Brad didn't need to leave for school until 10:30 so we had a nice relaxing morning with him. After the kids woke up we all jumped back into bed with Brad and cuddled and had tickle wars. Brad, unfortunately, has taught Kade how much I hate having my feet tickled so Kade does it as much as possible. He thinks it is hilarious and I really can't stand it! Ugh...But I still enjoyed our time as a family.
This afternoon my amazing friend Becca had a movie day at her house. She put blankets over the blinds to make it extra dark in the living room, and she put blankets on the floor for the kids to sit on. She even popped some popcorn and put them in little baggies with Hershey kisses. It was so cute! Popcorn and chocolate go really well together! We had a fun day with our friends.
