Family

Yesterday our Bishop shared a quote from David O. McKay when he said "No worldly success can compensate for failure in the home." President McKay was asked a few days later what he meant by failure. He explained that failure is when the family stops trying. I love that thought. As long as you don't give up and you keep trying then you aren't failing! Sometimes family night seems like a fail because the kids fight and it doesn't seem like they're paying attention. Some weeks it feel like we fail at scriptures because we don't read them every single night together. But we aren't failing. We aren't giving up.
