We bikes in the annual Beyond the Dam race again this year. Brad and Kade decided to do the intermediate race and the rest of stuck to the Beginner. I actually ended up running along side of Ryder and he kept a pretty good pace! I was so proud of him for biking four miles. He definitely got tired toward the end so I turned in his favorite song (We Built This City) and he took off. It was awesome.
Brad and Kade’s race was 10 miles on skinny dirt mountain biking trails. It was definitely out of Kade’s comfort zone but he did his best and had fun. The catered lunch was so delicious afterward. It was really crowded this year but we still had a fun time!
This evening a little town not too far from us was having a rodeo. The kids have never been, so we decided to take them. We all had a blast!
