Tenley

We celebrated Tenley's birthday today! I love remembering Tenley's birthday because it was one of the best, most peaceful, most spiritual moments of my life. And Tenley is one of the sweetest, kindest, happiest, people I know. We really, really love having her in our family and I'm so lucky that she is my daughter! After looking back at all the pictures of her today we decided she is our most expressive child. I love all her excited faces!
She wanted to go to school today to have birthday treats with her class. I brought her donuts and she made sure to share one with her Kindergarten teacher from last year and one with Kade's teacher. She is so thoughtful! I picked her and Kade up at lunch time so we could all go to McDonald's for her. Then we went and explored the corn maze and pumpkin patch all evening.
We also took Danny on a quick bike ride before picking the kids up for school. The winds were really fast today! Almost 50 mph. So we decided to only bike with a tail wind since we had two trucks to our use. We did have to bike against the wind a few times and it was really hard! It made me laugh. It was fun and exhilarating.
