The Primary Program

Kade and Tenley had their primary program in Sacrament meeting and it was so good! We have about 100 active primary kids in our ward so not everyone had a speaking part. Tenley did and she did a wonderful job. Kade got to play the bells with the song 'I Am A Child of God' and he did really well at staying on rhythm and playing his bell at the right times. They were all so cute! I love the primary program! At the end they sang one of my new favorite songs and Ryder's all time favorite song, 'I Will Be What I Believe'. It's a mash-up song with 'We'll Bring the World His Truth' and it's so beautiful. We've been listening to it all year on the kids' primary CD and honestly the lyrics got me through my labor with Luke. Every time a painful contraction came, I would focus on my breathing and sing the chorus in my head over and over again until the contraction ended. It gave me faith, strength, courage, and perseverance! Ryder has the song memorized now and will sing it all around the house and even at the grocery store. He's like a little missionary singing about Jesus to the cashier. Lol.

We had some friend over for dessert tonight. Our kids love getting together and they had a blast running around the house!
