The kids and I ran into some trouble today after we picked up Kade from school. Somehow the car battery died and it wouldn't start. I texted Brad but knew he would be busy at work for another hour. I thought we'd maybe just have to sit there until Brad's lunch break but since the kids kept asking "What do we do mom? What do we do?!" I had Kade say a prayer for us. But the car still wouldn't start. About 5 minutes later though a friend walked by on her way to her car and was able to help me jump mine. Soon after the car started up and we made it home safely! Kade asked? "Mom is that how Heavenly Father answered our prayer?"
I was so impressed that he was able to view that as an answer to prayer and that he hadn't expected the car to miraculously start on its own. It was a great opportunity for me to share with my kids that, yes, that was an answer to our prayer. And that more often than not Heavenly Father uses those around us to answer our prayers.
