Relief Society

Tonight we had a Relief Society activity to celebrate the birthday of the Relief Society organization and we had so many sisters come! It was such a fun night with yummy food, good friends, and a fun activity of switching presents. We had a wonderful speaker talk about how the Lord has given us certain gifts that will help us each personally on our journey here on Earth to help those around us and to help us become who we are supposed to be. She also talked about how the Lord will magnify us and we will be able to do things that might look impossible or too hard. It was such an inspiring message!
I'm so grateful to be a part of the wonderful organization of Relief Society! I LOVE the sisters in my ward. I love being with them, laughing with them, feeling the spirit with them, and learning more about them. It was such a good night!

On the way home my friend and I noticed a man whose truck had broken down in the middle of the road. He was trying to push it to the gas station, but it was clearly too heavy for him to do on his own. I was hoping to see someone stop to help him, but no one was stopping! I finally decided to jump out and help him even though I'm just a girl and have little muscles. Soon, another one of my friends showed up behind me and another man ended up stopping to help too! It was neat to see and to be a part of a simple act of service like that. I hope the nice man made it home safely.
