Brad had to speak in another ward today and I decided to join him. It was the ward that meets just before ours so it was close and easy to do. Tenley decided to join me as well. I loved listening to Brad. He gave a great talk about how he asked for some advice from one of the patriarchs in our stake on how he keeps the spirit with him and he said he learned that he had to stay away from three things: conflict, contention, and controversy. I think we’re confronted with those things every day and the challenge is to find a peaceful way of dealing with it. We need to be peacemakers!
