Huckleberries

Brad has been wanting to go pick huckleberries for a while now but it’s hard to know where to go. He’s been asking lots of friends and patients and he’s been researching it online. We weren’t sure exactly where we were going to go but we headed out to find a steep north facing mountain. We found one and were lucky to find a ton of huckleberry bushes! We picked several cups of huckleberries. It took all afternoon but the weather was perfect so no one complained. We found a lake nearby afterward and the kids played in the water. Tenley found some tadpoles and loved playing with them. The rest of us didn’t want to touch them!
