Bright Star

We spent the morning at a splash pad with Jason and his family. The kids had a lot of fun running around and I even ran into an old friend from high school! 

We came home and had lunch and then attempted some family pictures. I think they will turn out well! It was nice of my Dad to be out in the heat with us to take them.

Brad and I got to see Bright Star tonight at the Hale Center Theater. We were supposed to come and see it in April but COVID shut that trip down and the show for a time, but it’s back up and running and I was so happy to be able to see it! It was an amazing and emotional show. I loved it. My Dad was on the stage crew tonight so it was fun to see him during intermission and talk about the show. I love the line “You never know what life will bring, only what you bring to life.” 

It’s been a great day and a great night!
