We had a major snowstorm last night and today. We woke up to crazy snowdrifts all around our house! Ryder and Tenley were brave enough to get outside and play in the zero degree weather. They jumped in our window well since there was so much snow in it! They had a blast.
After festival we went to the church to play basketball. I had been planning on playing the organ for church tomorrow and whenever that is the case we always go the the church so I can practice and the kids can play with Brad. I’m disappointed church is canceled even though I understand the precautions. I still practiced the organ anyway because I love it. It’s such a fun instrument to play.
Then I joined the kids and Brad in their game. We played PIG and I almost beat Brad but in the end he won. We also played a lot of poison which is the kids’ favorite game.
Then we took the kids out to dinner to celebrate their great piano playing. There weren’t many people at the restaurant. I’m not sure if the storm was keeping them away or the Coronavirus. Honestly, we’re just trying to live our lives as normally as possible for as long as possible. We have not felt the need to stock up on what may be unnecessary things. We are not scared or fearful. We feel very safe and hopeful for the future.
