It was wonderful to sleep in again. I woke up a little bit before everyone to get a spinning workout in. The kids slowly woke up one by one while I was on my bike and started watching cartoons. When I finished, Brad was upstairs making eggs, hash browns, and cinnamon rolls for breakfast for all of us. Does life get much better than that? It was a perfect Saturday morning. It was perfect inside at least. It was sooo windy outside! At least 50 mph winds. The garbage man usually comes on Friday, but due to the holiday he came today. I joke that it’s always windy on garbage day but I think that may be the truth! The kids watched out the window for the garbage man and as soon as he had left Tenley braved the wind and put all the garbage cans back up by the houses so they wouldn’t blow down the street. She’s a sweetheart!
Beside getting our cars cleaned we didn’t spend much time out of the house today. I was impressed though that for the first time ever Luke didn’t cry as we went through the car wash. I think his sucker helped keep him quiet.
