Problem Solvers

We had tacos for dinner tonight and I could not open the new jar of salsa because it was so tight! I told the family that anyone who could open the jar would be able to have two desserts after dinner. Kade and Tenley jumped at the chance to try. They tried opening it on their own, they tried opening it together, they tried using a towel to open it, they even tried different tools from Brad’s tool box, but no luck. After 30 minutes Brad finally hinted at getting the metal lid to expand by putting it under hot water. That finally did the trick and they were able to open it! I’d say they earned their extra dessert!
