Several months ago Brad found out that the Harlem Globetrotters were coming to town. He bought tickets for himself, Kade and Tenley. It wasn’t until a few weeks ago that I realized we had planned Young Women in Excellence for the same night! I had to speak and play the piano but I toted the baby and Ryder along with me. Ryder was actually pretty excited to go to Young Women’s with me. He hates it when I leave for young women’s and he’s been wanting to check it out himself. I’m hoping he was sufficiently bored and no longer has the desire to come with me. Haha.
The program went pretty well though. The girls did great, of course, and my friends were all so helpful with the baby. Ryder followed me up to the front when I spoke which wasn’t ideal, but at least he stood there quietly.
Brad and the older two had a blast at the game! Tenley made sure she wore red white and blue to cheer on the Globetrotters. They even got basketballs and had them signed! They sure got spoiled! I hope it’s a something they remember.
