Brad and I celebrate 13 years together on Sunday! We thought it’d be fun to go out of town for a few days and bring the kids with us since Luke is a bit attached to me anyway. We didn’t tell the kids about our trip at all. We sent them to school this morning like always and then came home and packed. We checked them out early and they kept wondering why. We told them that we needed to run some errands and wanted them to come with us. They didn’t question it much after that until they noticed we were driving out of the city. And that I had packed the snack bag. And brought the IPads.
Brad still wouldn’t reveal the surprise but they definitely knew we had something planned. We pulled up at the indoor water park resort in Billings and they were soo excited! It will be a fun couple of days with them here!
Ryder is actually a little sick so that puts a bummer on the trip. He was fevering yesterday and threw up his dinner. We decided to risk the trip anyway and he definitely seems to be feeling better today. He got a good nap in the car and went to bed early tonight so hopefully he’ll be ready to party in the morning!
