Kade's friend was Darth Vader for Halloween and ever since Kade has been wanting that costume. He has been on a Star Wars kick lately and I even bought him a lightsaber the other day when the one I made him just wasn't cool enough for some reason! Well yesterday at Walmart I found the Darth Vader costume and it was $1! I was so excited! Kade loves it and even wore it to bed last night!

This week has been busy and I don't really see a break coming anytime soon, but I needed a day with my kids. So we left the house at 10 AM and didn't get back until 5 PM. It was so nice!
We went to the Children's Museum for most of the day and then picked up Brad early from school and walked around and played games at the canal. It was a beautiful fall afternoon. I was surprised there weren't more people out enjoying the weather! We had a good day together.
