Yesterday morning I was shoveling snow in our driveway and by tonight I was walking on the beach in Hawaii. Airplanes are amazing. We left before sunrise this morning and then watched the sunset on the beach. It was a long day but the kids did great and slept where and when they could. Luke said he could see Mars this morning from the plane before the sun came up. We’ve been learning about Mars in school so he was excited to see it. We had a layover in Oakland for a few hours and then a straight shot to Kauai!
We picked up a lot of groceries after we landed and then organized everything in our Airbnb. It is beautiful. We found a Thai food truck for dinner and then ate on the beach. The kids played and the sunset was beautiful. It is heaven!
