Kade had his last night of basketball for a few weeks. His team ended up losing in the semi finals but they played well! He had fun. I loved his team and his coaches. It was a great season.
After his game we had to hurry the kids home so Brad and I could get to a dinner meeting. It had snowed a lot during the game though so the roads were terrible! It took a while to get back but luckily we made it safely.
The dinner meeting was with all the building owners and spouses in the condo association. Dr. Ivers is over 80 years old but still going strong as a dentist and he insisted on taking us all out. He is one of the sweetest old men I know. We were also able to visit with Dr. Anderson and his wife Kim. He’s who Brad bought the practice from. He still owns one of the buildings that his daughter uses for her physical therapy office. It was so good to see them! They’re a pretty amazing couple. Dr. Fred shared a sweet memory of Brad. One of the first times we met they had us over to their house for dinner and Fred noticed that Kade had a problem or was upset about something and Brad was right there to help him out and fix the problem. Brad is such a good dad like that. It was nice of Fred to share that story.
