Tough Girls

We are loving this low key week! Kade and Ryder went for another bike ride this morning. We ran some errands and then stopped at the church so I could practice the organ and the kids could play in the gym.  Ryder got to have a friend over in the afternoon and then we all had soccer tonight. Tenley and I had practice, Ryder and Kade had a game. Ryder had several goals. It will be fun to see him in the bigger league next year. He needs to be challenged more. Kade played well! He wasn’t scored on at all when he was goal keeper and he had two really great shots on goal. 

While we were walking back to the car after the last game Tenley was holding a grasshopper and a friend of ours dared her to eat it. He said he’d give her $5. She said no so he raised it to $10. She said no again so he went up to $20. She said no again so he offered her $50. And then she accepted! She ate the grasshopper whole and didn’t even gag or vomit. I was so impressed by her guts, her poise, and her control. She is one tough little woman!
