Independence Day

We enjoyed church with the family this morning and hanging out and playing after that. The adults got to go on a Sunday drive to look at pretty homes in the city. My nephew Nate and his wife joined us all for another delicious barbecue dinner. Brad made homemade vanilla Oreo ice cream for dessert which was amazing as well. We had fun visiting with everyone. We went over to  Chad’s brother house once it got dark to light off more fireworks. He had some big ones and after Hailey got hit by one falling, we all backed off down the street and enjoyed them from a distance. Lol. When we made it back to the house we got up on the roof to get a better view of all the fireworks going off in the city. It was pretty! Then we put the kids to bed and the adults stayed up extra late to watch a movie. 

I’m so glad we made the trip down to be with family for the holiday. The kids love their cousins, Luke loves his aunt Lesa, we had lots of laughs and lot of yummy food. It was worth it!
