Kade

I could not have made it through this day as well as I did without Kade. He is a HUGE help to me and I’m more grateful than ever to have such a responsible 10 year old as my son. He stayed home while Luke napped while I ran errands and took Tenley and Ryder to gymnastics class. When we got home I set out the ingredients for fajitas and guacamole and asked him if he could get started on dinner while I took Ryder to his baseball game. He got dinner ready (with some help from Brad when he made it home) and even made raspberry smoothies for dinner as welll! When Ryder and I got home from the game it was really nice to see dinner waiting for us. Man, I have an amazing son!

Ryder was fielding so well at his game tonight! He stopped two ground balls and threw them to first base as fast as he could. He was pretty tired tonight after the game, but I think he’s still having fun!

And yes, Luke does have a black eye. There was a Sunday incident involving Ryder and Luke wrestling on the couch and Luke falling off onto the coffee table.
