Hiking and Fishing

Today, after we enjoyed our campsite as much as we could, we went to the lake to go fishing. We found a great little spot right off the trails so when Ryder got tired I took him for a hike in the backpack and he fell asleep really quickly! He didn't get a lot of sleep last night. But I was happy to explore! The trails were beautiful. And the kids had a great time fishing. They caught three more fish!

We had a great time camping but it's great to be clean and home again and to have Ryder sleeping soundly in his own bed.
Sleeping was probably the craziest part of the trip. Not too long after Brad and I fell asleep, Ryder woke up so he came into bed with Brad and me. He was a bed hog and it was hard for me to sleep! A few hours later Tenley woke up and she didn't like how dark it was, so I decided to go and cuddle with her to help her fall asleep and hopefully get more comfortable myself. Then a few hours after that Kade woke up cold so he went to sleep with Brad and Ryder in my spot! It was quite the memorable night!
