Today was a rainy, gloomy day so the fresh green salad I had planned to make for dinner wasn't sounding appetizing at all. After searching recipes online for something that looked good without any luck, I finally came into the living room and laid next to Kade who was coloring. He asked me what was wrong and I told him that I didn't know what to make for dinner. He thought for a minute and then he said, "Well, what food do you like?"
I said, "Pasta, but Dad doesn't like pasta."
Then he said, "Well, what food does dada like?"
I couldn't believe he was actually trying to help me feel better and solve my problem all while coloring his coloring book. He was so thoughtful and sweet! And he did help me feel better! I'm so grateful for the way Kade cares about me. I love him so much!
And I actually did end up finding a new, delicious recipe that we all loved for Chicken Lo Mein. It was delicious!
