Trips with Brad

Brad and I got to fly away today to Utah. We came for his friend Corey’s wedding in Provo. We left on the 5:30 am flight which is crazy early. Luckily we knew the guy working at the airport counter and he upgraded our seats. We had so much leg room! It was a great flight. We landed and stopped at my parent’s house for breakfast, a walk up the canyon, and to get ready for the wedding. The wedding was beautiful. They’re both so happy and we are so happy for them! They were sealed in the Mount Timpanogos temple and a tiny miracle was that the temple worker ushering Corey today was Brad’s old boss from BYU. Brother Johnson was a religious professor at BYU for years and Brad worked for him for years. He was very influential in Brad’s life and the last time they had seen each other was at our wedding. It was truly a blessing to see him and Brad reconnect.

After the temple we drove up Provo Canyon to revisit so many old memories. I love Provo so much because of all the memories I made with Brad here. The reception was at BYU and it was beautiful. Since we were there we decided to catch the BYU basketball game afterwards. We only had time to eat dinner in the Wilkinson center. It made me feel like a student again for a minute! Haha. And then of course after the game we had to get ice cream at the creamery.

It’s been a long day but a good one. The kids have been well taken care of at home by a good friend. Tenley even got to go to the temple with friends. They’ve had a blast!
