Kade had soccer practice from 12-1:30 but we decided that even a few hours at the lake would be worth it so we headed down right after his practice. And it was definitely worth it. The lake is my happy place. I was so glad we got to spend time there today. It wasn’t even crowded. I think most people had finished up their Labor Day weekend fun and decided to head home. We stayed out until the sunset and it was the best.
