Brad had asked the kids to week the garden this morning and I don’t think I’ve ever heard the kids argue more! I was grateful I had to leave to go to a lunch date with friends. Sometimes it just works better for them to figure out their problems on their own. And it did today. I came home and they were happy to tell me that they finished! The kids even hosed down the garage floor to clean it up from Brad’s muddy truck from camping last weekend. Maybe someday they’ll actually realize how much happier they are after working hard than they are after playing video games!
