The Night Before School

I got a lot of things done today in preparation or our big first day of school tomorrow! I’m excited and the kids seem excited as well. I keep trying to remind myself that it’s important that I’m happy and patient and kind so that our home will be filled with peace. It will be easy for the kids to learn in an environment of peace. And I’m also reminding myself to take it slow. One lesson at a time. I don’t need to get carried away with trying to go so in depth and see some sort of breakthrough in each kid every day. Just simple, consistent lessons. 

We had a fun family night tonight watching a movie and eating pizza. Then Brad gave us each a blessing to prepare for the new school year. It was much needed and appreciated. It will be a good day tomorrow!
