Psalms

I have loved reading the Psalms this week. They’re so beautiful and they bring me peace. In Psalms 19:7 it says “The law of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul.” I love the thought that it’s obedience to the Lord’s laws that converts our souls. We have to do, we have to follow, in order to be converted. It doesn’t just happen. Another thought shared today at church during the lesson was that we choose to hold onto the iron rod and it is our choice to let go. No one can force us to let go or tear our hands away. It’s always a choice.
