We made it back to the Sandpiper house for dinner and then played and played and played. They had yard games set up, ping pong and air hockey and even a batting cage in their shop, the trampoline and a little zip line that Ryder loved. They had so much fun with their cousins! It was great to be with everyone and celebrate George.

George
We had an exciting day with the Hobsons today. We arrived at the Sandpiper house and the whole extended family came out to surprise George for his 75th birthday. He was definitely surprised and excited to see everyone here just for him. Even most of the nieces and nephews that have already started college came to be here today for George. It was pretty amazing and I’m glad we were able to make this trip work. We had brunch at the Sandpiper house and had some time to visit and play. Then a huge bus arrived to take us on a tour of Boise to some special spots from George’s history. We saw the homes he and June grew up in, their schools, work places, and favorite restaurants. It was neat to hear journal entries from his Mom. The kids loved hanging out in the bus. We ended the tour at June’s grave.
