Winter Wonderland

I go back and forth from thinking we live in a winter wonderland to wondering how we are going to survive in this frozen wasteland. It is COLD here this week! This morning and yesterday morning I was out shoveling snow in -12 degree weather. It felt like my fingers were going to freeze solid. The kids and I had two stores to go to this afternoon and getting them in and out was crazy. 30 degrees is cold but -10 degrees is way colder. It instantly cuts through you and stings your skin. My hair will freeze when I shovel and turn white. It's hard to describe the feeling, but just trust me, it is ridiculously cold!
Even though it may be a frozen wasteland here right now, from the comfort of our warm home, it sure looks like a beautiful winter wonderland.
