Ryder taught our lesson last night. He chose pizza for dinner and Toy Story 2 for our movie tonight. We’ve been trying to get in a groove with the new schedule and family study materials but I think it will take some time. What we had going before was working well so it’s almost hard to change it, but we know it will be for the best so we’ll keep trying to make it work well.
Ryder and I have decided to take a break from electronics all week during the days when it's just us at home. He’s been on them way too much and it isn’t good for him so I’m dedicated to make a change. Today went a lot better than expected. We played chess, had preschool together, cleaned the house, and played the piano together. It was pretty great. He didn't even whine for a device :) Yay! And he still got to watch a movie tonight. Every day should be like this. Our weekly scripture is just what I need this week!
