We played catch up a lot today. The house needs to be cleaned, the laundry needed to get done and the lawn really needed to be mowed. Normally Brad and Kade mow the lawn, but I decided to try today to help Brad out so he wouldn't have to do it during family night. Well, it wasn't too easy! I used to mow the lawn all the time growing up, but I haven't used this lawn mower and I could not get it to start. I didn't think I was that weak! A nice neighbor saw me struggling and came over to help. Of course he got it started on his first pull. I think I need to do more push-ups...
Even with all the work we had to get done the kids had a fun impromptu dance party with the piano music pre-sets and Ryder and I played cars for a bit. These simple days at home are great. Does summer really have to end?
Tenley made ice cubes with her cup. And she gave us a great lesson on Temples tonight. I love hearing her bear her testimony!
