Tonight was Kade's turn to plan family night and he was so excited to do it! Yesterday while Kade was watching the Mormon channel for kids he found a great video that he wanted to share for his lesson about a boy with a shiny bicycle who later wishes he had a red bicycle like all of his friends. Kade taught us that we shouldn't get jealous over things that others have that we don't and that we should appreciate what we have. I didn't have to prompt him or anything. He taught us all by himself and he did an amazing job!
He chose Pizza Hut for dinner, a special deal he had seen a commercial for that came with a chocolate chip cookie pizza, and we watched The Land Before Time. Kade does a great job planning family night!
Ryder always looks at us like we're crazy when we sing the opening and closing songs. He probably wonders why we're all spontaneously breaking in to song. It makes me laugh.
