Thoughtful Gifts, Jamba Juice, Costa Vida, Mountains, Picnics, The HFAC, Learning

My sweet sister-in-laws were thoughtful enough to bring some sweet gifts for everyone. My sister-in-law Kimber made us all aprons from some of the fabric that Brad's mom had. It is a sweet reminder of my mother-in-law. I am so grateful for it.

There was some yummy food on campus that I we don't have out in Indiana and it was fun to enjoy it! I ended up skipping a class just so I could eat some yummy food on the grass and stare at the mountains for a while. The mountains are truly breathtaking and I miss having them so near!

The Harris Fine Arts building at BYU is one of my favorites because they have so many practice rooms filled with really nice pianos! While Hailey and I were skipping class we went exploring and played the piano. Oh to be a student again and spend so much of your time doing things like that. It was fun to experience it for a day.

I learned so much at the Conference and am excited to apply it all to my life and hopefully be a better wife, mother, and person. I love learning and improving myself. One of my favorite things I learned was actually from Brad. When I left he told me to Be Present and not worry about him and the kids, but to just enjoy my time with family and at the conference. I took his advice and I'm so glad I did. I had such an amazing time! I know that if no matter what I'm doing or who I'm with, if I focus on being present and not letting myself get distracted by thinking of other things, I will be a better person and friend and I'll enjoy life a lot more!
