Toddler Walks
Luke took his first steps at the Murdock’s house on Sunday (luckily we were there for it!) and every day since then he walks further and further. I love his little Frankenstein walk. And he’s always so proud of himself after he finishes! As he should be. :)

Ryder's Night
Ryder planned family night tonight so we had a pizza party and watched a movie. After I put Luke in bed I was able to sit, relax and cuddle with Ryder while we finished his movie. He is such a cutie!

Young Womens
Today my counselors and I were released from Young Womens. I knew it was coming and felt good about it, but after it actually happened I was pretty sad! I will miss working so closely with the youth. They are INCREDIBLE. One of my favorite (not that I have favorites...) laurels texted me the sweetest note. She said "Hey Sister Hobson, I just wanted to let you know I will miss you tons being my leader. You have been such a great example for me over the years and I have loved getting to know you and be in young women's with you!!!"
It was the sweetest thing to read. I'm so, so grateful for the opportunity I've had to serve in young womens. It was one of the best experiences I've had.

Dental Conferences
Today was the last day of the dental conference and it was really good! Jenny Oaks Baker and her family came and played and they were all so incredible. It was the highlight of the day. She and her son played a duet together and it brought tears to my eyes. I think I need to get one of my boys in guitar lessons now!
We had lunch on campus today in the exact spot where Brad and I met. So many good memories! It's weird to think that was 14 years ago!
On our way out of town we stopped at a Tesla dealership to test drive a Tesla. Brad’s been interested in an electric car for a while now. It is an incredible car and the acceleration is crazy! When we finished I felt like I had just gone on a roller coaster ride. It’s been a fun trip!

Anthony Sweat
We had a great day here in Provo at the dental conference. There were great speakers for us dental wives and my favorite by far was Anthony Sweat. I’ve known and loved him for several years now. He wrote a book called Christ In Every Hour that helped me understand the atonement of Jesus Christ on a much deeper level. I’ve gifted his book to my mom, several friends, and even a few of my young women. I use his acronym for Christ anytime I teach a lesson on the Savior and the power of His atonement. I love it! I was so excited to hear him speak today, meet him, and even take a photo with him! Haha. I felt funny, but his work truly has influenced my life for the better so it was worth it.
It was fun to see old friends from Indiana and Lewiston. It’s been great to catch up and hang out. After the conference we went out to eat and then to an escape room. It was a blast!
I was able to FaceTime with the kids for a minute tonight and they had a great day. They went swimming and were just getting ready to play night games. It was fun to see their happy faces!

Trips with Brad
Tennis camp ended today and my kids can’t wait to do it again. They really loved it. I’m glad! We’re going to have to go play together next week and teach Ryder a few things. I bought them all their own tennis rackets and Ryder brought his to the lessons. He didn’t want to sit upstairs behind the glass because then he couldn’t hear the coach talking and he really wanted to hear what she was teaching them. I can’t get Ryder to sit through an hour of anything, but he sat still and watched them practice tennis for an hour! He keeps begging to play. Soon Ry Ry! Soon!
We drove down to Idaho Falls after tennis camp and left the kids with the Murdock’s for the weekend. They’re excited but I’m already missing them!
Brad and I are in Provo for a dental conference at BYU. It’s crazy to be back here! So much has changed and yet it all still feels so familiar. Almost like we were just here.
We found an ice cream sandwich dessert place and sat down in the restaurant to eat, but all the noisy college students drove us out and we ate in the car! Lol. We must be getting old :)

Swimming
After tennis camp our friends invited us swimming at their pool. The kids were excited! They had a blast. I’m glad we got another pool day in.
I took Tenley to the salon today to get a real haircut. She loved it and had so much fun! She looks adorable with her cute cut and curls. I had fun with her today. She also got a Cinderella shirt in the mail from Grandpa. It sure was a special day for her!

Tennis Camp, The Ice Cream Truck
Kade and Tenley have started tennis camp this week and have been loving it. Tenley wasn't excited about it and I almost had to force her to do it, but she is so happy that I did. I'm glad she is trying something new and enjoying it. Her swing is pretty good. I've been impressed with both of them. They're all begging for tennis rackets now.
The local endodontist brought the ice cream truck to Brad's office, so the kids and I came to enjoy it with them and our friends. They also had fun climbing the trees while we were there. It was a fun afternoon!

Brad snapped these cute photos of the kids and Keena over the weekend. I love them! Our little gang is adorable and we love them.

Emily
Emily is in college at BYU but she came home for the summer and I snatched her up to be the Laurel advisor. She is the most incredible, amazing person I could have had with me and the Laurels. She is beautiful inside and out, she is smart and always has good advice for the girls. She is so good at remembering all the good advice she has received and then sharing it with the girls at the most perfect moments. She is so kind! She is always willing to help and is so supportive. The girls and I fell in love with her and are sad to have to send her back to BYU in a few weeks. She is incredible.
We also had to send Kyle home today. We will miss him! But we're so glad we had a fun visitor with us for the weekend.

Uncle Kyle
A storm is rolling in so the weather has cooled off significantly. It’s been nice! Kyle, Brad, and Kade went golfing this morning. While they were gone the other kids and I played games. They really love playing games! After lunch we all went for a bike ride. It felt good to be back on the river trail. Especially on such a cool day.
We took Kyle to Mackenzie River Pizza for dinner because he’s never been there before. It was delicious! We’ve all been grateful for another fun day with Kyle!

Fish
Kyle arrived last night so he and Brad could go fishing on the Missouri. This is the third time Brad has gone and he still loves it. He’s found a great guide that takes them and knows all the secrets so they’re always pretty successful. It sounds like they had a lot of fun today.
Brad also grilled us some of his salmon tonight that he caught in Canada. It was so delicious! The kids loved it and ate a ton. I’m glad they like it so much because we have a lot to eat!
