Running with Lesa, Grandma's "Park," Jump Time, Swimming, Shopping with my Sister-in-laws

One of the things I always do while we are visiting family in Boise is go running in the morning with Lesa and Amy. Occasionally other people will join us, but today since Amy isn't here, it was just me and Lesa. It was fun to get out of the busy house, get some exercise, and have a good conversation with Lesa!

Kade loves Grandma Hobson's big backyard. He calls it grandma's park because of how big it is! He has spent most of the trip out there with his cousins jumping on the tramp, playing basketball, swinging, or running around.

This afternoon we took the kids to Jump Time. They had a blast all together jumping around and doing tricks.

I got thrown in...Next time I will stay clear of Chad and Travis!

The kids loved getting thrown into the pit by Brad!

Kade was brave enough to jump off the top of the monkey bars!

Tonight after dinner we went to Brad's brother Jared's house to go swimming. Tenley wouldn't get in, but Kade was having so much fun with Brad! Brad is so good about pushing Kade to try new things and do things he wouldn't normally do. He even jumped off the diving board today! It is so fun to see him conquer new heights.

Another Boise must is a girls shopping trip to Target. Heidi loves Target, especially since she doesn't have a Target where she lives, so we always make sure to do some shopping there. Our husbands were so nice to take care of the children for us! We missed Calli, Amy, and Kimber, but we had a lot of fun trying on lots of clothes, and talking. I'm so lucky to have such amazing, fun, beautiful, awesome sister-in-laws!

Boise, Big Bun, Picnics

We made it to Brad's parents house in Boise today! Five of Brad's seven siblings are also here so it has been a fun little family reunion. I've hardly even seen Kade since we've been here because he has been off playing with his cousins so much. It is going to be such a fun week!

Tonight we all headed to Big Bun (a super yummy local burger joint) to pick up dinner and then headed to a beautiful park in downtown to have a picnic. The food was delicious, the scenery was beautiful, and the company was even better!

Temple Square, Tabernacle Organ, Twin Falls

This afternoon before we had to leave Utah we went to Temple Square with my parents. It was another beautiful day! The flowers were colorful, the trees were green, and the temple looked amazing against the blue sky. There weren't many people there either so it was even more peaceful than usual.

We got to see an organ recital in the Tabernacle. It was awesome! The kids even loved it, although some of the loud songs made Tenley jump. Other than that the kids were really quiet and good.

Tonight we made it to Twin Falls, Idaho to visit with Brad's oldest brother Bryan and his family. Kade is loving being with more cousins! They made us the yummiest chocolate cake dessert tonight. We are so grateful to be spending some time with them.

Soccer Games, My Parents, Reunions, Utah Weather

This morning we got to see my nephew, Junior, and my niece, Lexy, play soccer. It was so fun to be able to be at their games! They both did a great job!

My parents are amazing. They always do SO MUCH for us while we are here visiting. They make sure they take us out to all of our favorite restaurants and get to see all of the places we want to get to. They spend a lot of time with our kids and always try to make them happy, and us too! We are so blessed to have them! They make our time here in Utah so fun, comfortable, and enjoyable.

This afternoon Kade, Tenley and I were anxiously waiting for Brad on the front porch. When he finally pulled up we all ran to the car and gave him huge hugs! It is so good to all be back together!

We spent the next hour or so playing games in the front yard and enjoying the perfect weather. Although we love living in Indiana for a lot of reasons, we have not yet gotten used to the extreme heat and humidity out there. So the nice, cool, dry, spring weather here in Utah has been so nice for us!
Utah is truly beautiful with it's majestic mountains, bright blue sky, and beautiful green trees. Although we may not call it home, I'm so grateful we are able to visit here as often as possible.

Parks, Hammocks, Dance Parties with my Dad, The Mountains, My Grandpa's Cabin, and end of D2!

We found a fun park to play at today! I'm so grateful that my kids are so entertained at the park.

One of Kade's favorite things to do at my parents house is to lay on their hammock. We had a fun afternoon hanging out there together.

When I was young, my Dad would often have dance parties with me, but instead of One Direction we would dance to Journey or Boston. I love those memories! It was so fun to see him dance with my daughter today. It's crazy how quickly life can pass you by!

We went up in the mountains tonight and it was amazing. I love the mountains. I love to look at them, I love to be in them, I even love the way they smell! I just love them. They are gorgeous.

My grandparents built a little cabin when my dad was a baby. They have a great location in the canyon and it has been so nice to use their cabin so much throughout my life with friends and family. We enjoyed a nice evening up there tonight. Kade loved it so much he wanted to sleep over!

And tomorrow Brad will be with us! He rocked his final exam this morning and started driving out west right after finishing it. 2 years of dental school down, 2 years to go! I am so proud of you Brad!
